May 2012: Chris Gebhardt is a seasoned law enforcement manager and
trainer for over 20 years. He served as a Police Supervisor and IT Manager for
three different police departments in Utah and was the Commander of the
Tactical Crime Analysis Unit for the Metropolitan Police Department in
Washington, DC. Mr. Gebhardt is a Certified Microsoft
Office Expert and a nationally recognized expert in law enforcement technology.
He has presented various topics and speeches at numerous local and national
conferences including Department of Justice, International Association of
Chiefs of Police, and the National Sheriff's Association conferences and
symposiums. His presentations are often rated exceptionally high.
April
2012: Sagy Amit
is an Israeli born security professional. With almost two decades of industry
experience, his background includes service in the IDF as a paratrooper, with
focus on border control technologies. Sagy moved to New York City in 1996 and
started his civilian career with local integrators as a locksmith, and low
voltage technician. In 2005 Sagy was hired to manage the US subsidiary of
Israeli based homage, than the pioneer company in the field of Video Analytics
on the edge. For the past 8 years he was involved in designing Video Analytics
solutions for nuclear plants, Utility substations, Chemical facilities, prisons
and many more. In his current role with VideoIQ Sagy focuses
on adopting smart camera technology for mainstream users.

2012: Peter Ferguson, CPP is our ASIS chapter Vice Chairman and
an experienced people manager at the World’s Largest Online Marketplace, eBay.
He has conducted interviews and found talent in India, China, Korea, Malaysia,
Australia, Singapore, Ireland and throughout North
America.
February 2012: Severin Sorensen, CPP is President & CEO of Sikurity
LLC, where he applies his 20+ years senior-level executive management
experience in physical security. Mr. Sorensen is a book author of
"Economic Misery and Crime Waves". He advises security industry
thought leaders on emerging trends in security, advanced video surveillance,
perimeter protection technologies, and Crime Prevention
Through Environmental Design (CPTED). Severin is
a Past Academic Program Advisor for the ASIS Assets Protection Course I -
Concepts and Methods, Past Chairman of the Physical Security Council, and
current member of the ASIS Physical Security Council International
Subcommittee. Mr. Sorensen has served in the White House as a Special Assistant
to the President and Regional Liaison, Bureau of State and Local Affairs,
Office of National Drug Control Policy.
